Guided Fabrication Program
I am developing a cohort-based format for those who want structured progression through the Fabricator’s Field Guide curriculum.
The instructional material itself is publicly available through the YouTube channel. The cohort format would provide sequence, accountability, and the opportunity for questions and feedback while working through the material.
This page exists to gauge interest and notify those who may want to participate when the first cohort is announced.
Purpose
Most people learning fabrication skills are working without structure.
They watch lessons, but do not know what order to follow. They attempt exercises, but have no way to evaluate accuracy or identify error.
The cohort format is intended to provide a defined progression through foundational skills, with an emphasis on measurement, layout, tool control, and accuracy.
The focus is not on producing projects, but on developing reliable control and understanding.
Who This Is Intended For
This may be appropriate for those who:
- Have little or no prior shop experience and want a clear starting point
- Have used tools but lack formal structure
- Want to improve measurement accuracy and consistency
- Prefer deliberate skill development rather than informal exploration
No prior experience would be required.
Current Status
The cohort format is in development.
Details such as schedule, duration, and structure will be finalized based on interest and availability.
Joining the waitlist below allows me to understand who is interested and to notify you when additional information becomes available.
There is no obligation associated with joining the waitlist.
